Choose the Correct Record Source

The full Windham County release search explains how to match the event to its source. The usual routes are:

  • CT DOC search or Public Information for a state-prison release or discharge
  • Judicial Branch criminal lookup and the court clerk for bond, disposition, sentence, or court discharge
  • BOPP and CT DOC Parole and Community Services for parole decisions and supervision
  • Adult Probation for court-ordered probation routing, not for a public roster
  • CT SAVIN through VINELink for custody-change notifications
  • BOP for federal prison records and ICE ODLS for immigration custody
  • The arresting police department or State Police troop for a local arrest record or requested photograph
