GA 11 Danielson Release Paths
Superior Court, Geographical Area No. 11 is associated with criminal court processing in Danielson. Judicial marshals may hold a person around arraignment or another court appearance, but that short stay does not create a public jail roster. The court event controls what happens next. A bond order can permit the person to leave while the case stays open. A discharge, dismissal, or nolle can end the immediate custody basis. A sentence to probation can place the person under community supervision. A remand, sentence of incarceration, or mittimus can move the person into CT DOC custody.
The durable proof follows the authority that acted. For release from court, use the docket and the clerk's bond, disposition, or discharge record. For continued custody, search CT DOC after the handoff. Connecticut unified county jails and state prisons under CT DOC in 1968, so there is no Windham County sheriff release feed to consult. The Windham County release-record search covers the broader person-search path when it is unclear whether the event was court, state, federal, or immigration custody.
Confirm GA 11 Danielson Releases
A court release is best checked from the case outward. Names alone can produce false matches. Start with a docket number when possible, then compare the defendant, court, case status, charges, disposition, and dates. The online result is a route to the official record, not a substitute for the clerk when the custody result is unclear.
- Open the Connecticut Judicial Branch criminal and motor-vehicle lookup. Use the daily docket by court or defendant for a current appearance.
- Search pending cases by defendant or docket number if the matter continues after bond. Use conviction search by defendant or docket number for a completed case with a conviction.
- Read the case status and disposition. Look for the event that supports release, such as bond, discharge, dismissal, nolle, probation, or another court order.
- Ask the clerk for the specific bond order, discharge order, disposition, sentence, modification, or mittimus when the public page does not show enough detail.
- Check CT SAVIN through VINELink for a registered bond-out or discharge-from-court notice. Notification does not replace the court file.
- If the person was remanded or sentenced to confinement, search the CT DOC Inmate Information Search by DOC number, name, and date of birth.
Timing matters. A same-day docket can show the appearance before a later custody system finishes its intake. CT DOC says its data is updated daily but may change quickly. An empty DOC result right after court does not prove community release. Confirm the court order first, then allow for the transfer and agency update.
GA 11 Release Record Fields
The Judicial Branch lookup is a case-record source. It is not a release roster. Its fields help identify the proceeding and explain why custody changed. A court disposition can establish bond, dismissal, probation, sentence, or another judicial outcome, while CT DOC controls later correctional status and sentence calculations.
| Field | Release relevance | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Docket number | Links searches and clerk requests to the same case. | It identifies a case, not a custody location. |
| Defendant | Connects the event to the named person. | Confirm identity with more than a name. |
| Case status | Shows whether the matter is pending or completed. | An open case can continue after bond release. |
| Charges | Provides case context for the court event. | Charges alone do not prove custody. |
| Disposition or sentence | May show dismissal, conviction, probation, or incarceration. | CT DOC calculates correctional release dates. |
| Next court date | Shows a future pending-case event. | A future date does not state current custody. |
| Court location | Routes the records request to the proper clerk. | It is not necessarily where someone is held. |
CT SAVIN adds a different kind of fact. CT DOC Victim Services lists bond out from a correctional facility and discharge from court as accused-status notification events. Those notices help with prompt awareness. They are not a complete historical file, and users may need separate registration under the offender and offender-with-court-cases tabs for correctional and judicial information.
Note: Match the docket number, defendant, court, and event date before relying on a release-related result.
GA 11 Released Versus Remanded
The most important distinction is whether custody ended or merely changed hands. Judicial marshal custody is tied to court processing. Once the proceeding ends, the person may leave under a bond or court order, remain for more processing, or be delivered to CT DOC. The same courthouse exit can therefore lead to very different records.
| Outcome | What happened | Where to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Released on bond | The person leaves custody while the case remains pending. | Pending-case docket, bond order, clerk, CT SAVIN |
| Discharged from court | The immediate court-custody basis ends. | Disposition or discharge order, clerk, CT SAVIN |
| Probation ordered | The person is supervised in the community under a court sentence. | Sentence record and Adult Probation |
| Remanded | The court directs continued custody rather than release. | Mittimus or order, then CT DOC search |
| Transferred elsewhere | Another state, federal, or immigration agency has custody. | Receiving agency's official system |
A mittimus is a court document directing custody or execution of a sentence. If one sends the person to CT DOC, the court record explains the authority and the DOC result explains the correctional status. The Brooklyn Correctional Institution release page addresses state-prison records for the local Windham County facility, but a person remanded at Danielson can be placed elsewhere in the statewide system.
GA 11 Release Records Contact
Use the official court lookup to identify the case before contacting the clerk. The project research provides a Danielson address but does not provide a verified public phone number or clerk hours. Do not substitute Brooklyn CI or CT DOC contact details for a court record. Check the current Judicial Branch directory for service details before an in-person visit.

Official records route: Judicial Branch lookup, then the clerk for the case
A narrow request works best. State the defendant's name, the docket number, the court date, and the exact record sought. Ask for the bond order, disposition, sentence, mittimus, sentence modification, or discharge order. Do not request a generic inmate file because GA 11 is not a jail that keeps a county incarceration roster.
Connecticut public-record access is governed by the Freedom of Information Act in Chapter 14. Section 1-210 generally provides inspection or copying rights unless an exemption applies, and section 1-212 governs copies and fees. Certified copies have separate statutory charges. The clerk can identify the right court-record process for the requested document.
GA 11 Release Record Limits
An online court result can change or disappear for reasons unrelated to the truth of a past custody event. The Judicial Branch notice says conviction information is generally displayed for no more than ten years after sentencing unless the Connecticut Practice Book calls for a shorter period. It says information is removed one month before the end of the applicable display period. Youthful Offender cases, juvenile cases, infractions, and violation convictions are not shown.
Records can also change through erasure, correction, pardon, or another modification. Connecticut's Clean Slate portal explains that eligible convictions can follow automatic or petition-based erasure paths depending on the conviction date and eligibility. General Statutes section 54-142a governs erasure after events that include not-guilty findings, dismissals, and qualifying nolles.
Do not fill an official gap with an old third-party copy. Ask the clerk whether the public record is unavailable, outside the online period, changed, or subject to erasure. A missing case is not proof that no court appearance or short-term custody occurred. It only means the current public search did not return that record.
Note: The court file explains the judicial outcome; CT DOC remains responsible for its own later custody, sentence, and supervision data.
GA 11 Probation Release Routing
A sentence to probation is a court outcome, not a jail release listing. Probation means court-ordered community supervision, either after custody or instead of incarceration. The sentence and docket establish that order. The Windham and Danielson Adult Probation office is a local routing point for supervision matters, not a public roster of people released from GA 11.

Use: supervision routing after a court sentence
Do not confuse probation with parole. Parole is conditional release from prison managed through the Connecticut Board of Pardons and Paroles and CT DOC Parole and Community Services. Probation stems from a Judicial Branch sentence. A person can also move through different supervision structures at different times, so use the exact sentence and agency record rather than assuming that all post-court supervision is the same.
GA 11 Federal Custody Separation
Federal and immigration custody are outside the GA 11 and CT DOC court-release systems. The U.S. Marshals Service handles federal pretrial custody and transport. A sentenced federal prison record belongs in the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator. BOP explains that a past release date with no facility can indicate the person left BOP custody, though another supervision or custody system may still apply.
ICE uses the Online Detainee Locator System. It can be searched by A-number and country of birth, or by name, country of birth, and date of birth. An ICE result is not a Connecticut court docket. Likewise, a Danielson court disposition does not prove that an immigration hold ended. When another agency receives the person, report the event as a transfer until that agency confirms release.
These separate routes prevent a common error. Leaving the courthouse lockup does not always mean going home. The bond order, clerk record, CT SAVIN notice, CT DOC result, or receiving federal record must establish the destination.
